Reiki recognizes we all have a palpable life force energy which is infinite, limitless, and pure.
We are alive because life force is flowing through us. Life force is energy. Life force flows within the body through pathways called meridians and chakras. It also flows around us in a field of energy called the aura. Life force nourishes the organs and the cells in the body, supporting them in their vital functions. When the life force is disrupted, it causes diminished function in one or more of the organs and tissues of the physical body. Life force is responsive to thoughts, feelings and choices. It becomes disrupted when we accept either consciously or unconsciously, negative thoughts or feelings about ourselves, or when we make not so good choices. Some of the results of low life force are; low self esteem, addictions, unhealthy relationships, mental confusion, toxicity, and physical disease.
Reiki is a love vibration and love raises the vibratory level of negative energy in and around the body, this causes the negative energy to break apart and fall away. Reiki can never cause harm because Reiki is guided by the Universe/God/Source. The Universe/God/Source always knows what a person needs and will adjust the Reiki itself to create the effect needed for the highest and greatest good.
